Doncaster Racecourse are encouraging racegoers to Wear Yellow in support of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s Yellow Yorkshire campaign.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance plays a crucial role in providing rapid medical response and transportation to those in need across the region. Their helicopters are often the difference between life and death in critical situations, and every donation helps keep these life-saving services operational.
Katie Collinson, partnerships manager at Yorkshire Air Ambulance said, “We are grateful for the support of Doncaster Racecourse and all the racegoers attending our raceday on 27th April. Simply put…everything new do is keeping our air ambulance helicopters flying across Yorkshire and ensuring our lifesaving team is available 365 days a year, to deliver the highest standards of emergency care. Since our very first Yellow Yorkshire launch way back in 2014, thousands of pounds have been raised by you…our wonderfully loyal supporters. Without your generosity, we could not continue to do the work we do. So, from everyone here at Yorkshire Air Ambulance – thank you! Together, we can raise awareness and funds that will directly impact our ability to reach those in urgent need of medical assistance.”
By wearing yellow at the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Raceday on Saturday 27th April, guests will not only add a vibrant touch to the raceday but also but also demonstrate solidarity with the brave men and women of Yorkshire Air Ambulance who work tirelessly to save lives. Spotters will be out and about on the day handing out prizes for the best yellow attire.
