With the flat season back in full stride, the countdown is officially on for one of the biggest events in the racing calendar – The Betfred St Leger Festival 2025, at Doncaster Racecourse.
Running from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th September, the festival promises four thrilling days of top-tier racing, live entertainment and an amazing atmosphere!
Thursday 11th September – The Betfred Ladies Day
The festival kicks off in spectacular fashion with the ever-popular Betfred Ladies Day – a dazzling celebration of racing, style, and social glamour.
Known as one of the most stylish days in the racing calendar, Ladies Day brings together show-stopping outfits, live music and prestigious flat racing.

Friday 12th September – The Betfred Doncaster Cup Day
Day two of the festival sees the focus shift to elite racing, with the historic Doncaster Cup taking centre stage. This is a must see for racing fans and offers a blend of competition and class.
Saturday 13th September – The Betfred St Leger Day
The jewel in the crown. Betfred St Leger Day is the pinnacle of the festival, featuring the World’s oldest Classic, the Betfred St Leger Stakes. Witness racing history as some of the best horses in the country compete for the win.
Sunday 14th September – The Betfred Sunday Funday
Rounding off the festival is the Betfred Sunday Funday, with a range of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Also returning for 2025 is the much-loved Leger Legends Race – where retired racing greats saddle up once again in support of charity.
