Tickets for the 244th St Leger Festival will be on sale on New Years Day at Super Early Bird Prices.
Yorkshire’s Classic St Leger festival is the highlight of the flat season, and in 2019 the four-day event welcomed over 54,000 visitors, with the World’s Oldest Classic St Leger stakes attracting an impressive 27,688 visitors on St Leger Saturday.
The St Leger has been won by some legendary horses through the decades, and 2019 was no different, as jubilant crowds watched Logician, fresh from victory in York’s Great Voltigeur, maintain his unbeaten record with an emphatic victory under Frankie Dettori.
Tickets for the 2020 St Leger Festival will be on sale on 1 January, and as one of the most prestigious race weeks of the British horse racing calendar, St Leger is an experience not to be missed.
Nikki Griffiths- General Manager of Doncaster Racecourse said: “St Leger is a fantastic sporting and social occasion. In 2019 we enjoyed some amazing racing, including Stradivarius’s impressive victory in the Doncaster Cup, when he became the first horse in 14 years to complete the Stayers Triple Crown, and who can forget Logician storming to success in the St Leger, earning Frankie Dettori a sixth St Leger win.”
“2020’s festival I’m sure will be equally exciting and for anyone who hasn’t yet experienced the St Leger Festival, I encourage you to visit on any of the four festival days. St Leger is of course the World’s Oldest Classic, it’s also Yorkshire’s only Classic, and that makes it pretty special.”
Whether you like to dine in style in the Club 1776 Marquee, celebrate with friends on the Champagne Lawn, cheer the winners past the winning post in the Grandstand, or relax with a picnic in the picnic enclosure. Tickets for all enclosures will be on sale on 1 January.
Super Early Bird tickets will only be available until 31 January and include savings of £35 on St Leger Day Premier Enclosure Tickets, £20 on St Leger Day County Enclosure Tickets, £10 savings on Ladies Day and Gentlemen’s Day Grandstand Tickets, and Picnic Enclosure tickets for all festival days are available for a limited time only for just £10.
