Doncaster Racecourse is delighted to announce we have been named as a Finalist for the prestigious Showcase & Awards, hosted by the Racecourse Association (RCA).
The Showcase & Awards is the marquee event of British racecourses that celebrate excellence and innovation in partnership with Moët Hennessy, Racing Post and Great British Racing.
Doncaster Racecourse has been listed as a Finalist in the Best Campaign category. From the five Finalists the winner will be revealed at the Showcase & Awards ceremony on Thursday 14th November at Hamilton Park Racecourse.
The Best Campaign category celebrates excellence in the sphere of marketing, increasing the appeal of racing to new audiences and improving the frequency of visits amongst customers. Entries were asked to demonstrate the clear strategy and execution used for the campaign by means of a multi-tiered approach to engage with a target audience.
Sam Cone, PR & Communications Manager at Arena Racing Company, said: ““We are absolutely delighted to see the ‘Dinocaster Family Day’ campaign shortlisted for an RCA Showcase Award. The Doncaster team did a tremendous job in developing the idea, and attracting a bumper crowd to the racecourse on Father’s Day. The dinosaur theme was so popular, that we have subsequently been able to share it amongst other racecourses in the ARC group, where it has been similarly successful.
Paul Swain, RCA Brand & Experience Manager, added, “I am thrilled for Doncaster Racecourse for their success in being named a Finalist at the 2019 Showcase & Awards.
“Competition for these awards continues to grow each year and it was only fitting for our tenth ceremony that we can celebrate a record number of submissions.
Our Finalists represent the best of British Racecourses and should all be immensely proud of the work they’ve done to enhance the customer experience and their racecourse overall. All eyes now turn to Thursday 14th November at Hamilton Park where we will find out the winners.”
