Doncaster Racecourse welcomed 6,000 racegoers over the weekend, as it successfully launched its first Marston’s Beer festival race weekend featuring a wide selection of Marston’s finest beers and some quality National Hunt racing.
Arena Racing Company (ARC), the UK’s largest racecourse group, partnered with Marston’s brewery back in April 2017 and visitors to Doncaster Racecourse have largely enjoyed the great choice of beverages Marston’s has to offer during its tenure with the group.
The festival featured 42 different real ales, bitters, world lagers and ciders for racegoers to enjoy over the 2 racedays.
Doncaster Racecourse’s Executive Director, Tim Banfield said “We’re thrilled the Beer festival race weekend was such a success, kicking off another enthralling season of National Hunt racing here at Doncaster. We’re excited at the prospect of developing the event further and making it an annual feature in December.”
Doncaster Racecourse has an exciting festive period of racing and events ahead, featuring the Festive Jumpers racedays on the 15th and 16th December, Christmas LIVE party nights throughout December and the family-friendly Twixmas raceday on the 29th December.
