We're delighted to announce that we have been named as a Finalist for the prestigious Showcase & Awards, hosted by the Racecourse Association (RCA).
The Showcase & Awards is the marquee event of British racecourses that annually celebrates first class customer experience in partnership with Moët Hennessy, Racing Breaks, Racing Post and Great British Racing.
Doncaster Racecourse has been listed as a Finalist in the Operational Excellence category. From the five Finalists the winner will be revealed at the Showcase & Awards ceremony on Thursday 8th November at Aintree Racecourse.
The Operational Excellence Award recognises exceptional delivery and behind the scenes initiatives that improve the operational performance and customer service at racecourses.
John Russo, Director of Operations at Doncaster Racecourse, said: "The quality and variety of experiences from racecourses in the UK is incredible, and I am exceptionally proud that the team at Doncaster has been shortlisted for such a prestigious award. The nomination alone is testament to the hard work of everyone involved in opening the new hotel, and ensuring the Hilton Garden Inn was showcased on the busiest week of Doncaster's calendar.
"Not only was the Hilton Garden Inn successfully opened to 60,000 customers during the St Leger festival, a sell-out Garden Inn Suite, delivered over 1000 covers, ensuring a fantastic festival experience and excellent customer feedback."
