We can't wait to welcome you to Doncaster Racecourse. Ahead of the gates opening, here's a list of everything you need to know ahead of the 2023 Betfred St Leger Community Fun Day

Leger Legends Charity Race
 
First run in 2010, the St Leger Legends horse race is the only British charity race for ex-professional jockeys. Previous winners include horse racing industry legends AP McCoy, Joseph O'Brien, Brian Harding, and Julie Krone. 

This race is a great opportunity to see some retired jockeys back in the saddle. The 2023 star-studded jockey line up includes:

  • Adult grandstand admission: £36
  • County Enclosure admission: £76
  • Premier Enclosure admission: £76

Transport

A shuttle bus is in operation, providing to and from trips to the racecourse from Doncaster Interchange.

Parking

  • Parking is available on site
  • Car Park A – For hospitality, Annual Members and Owner and Trainers, £10 (Hospitality bookers get 1 free space per two customers, Annual Members & Annual Box holders get free parking with car window sticker, Owners & Trainers get free parking through their PASS card or QR code entry)
  • Carpark C will be available for on the day parking at £7 per car. Please be aware only card payments are accepted.
  • Blue Badge holders can park free of charge.

Security checks

Security checks will take place on entry. Please bring nothing larger than an A4-sized bag.

Other useful information

  • Chairs, tables, umbrellas or parasols cannot be bought on-site.
  • Picnics cannot be bought on-site.
  • Doncaster Racecourse is a cashless venue. However, on-site bookmakers will take cash.
