We can’t wait to welcome you to Doncaster Racecourse for our fifth Summer Saturday of the year – Cowboys & Country.

Please note: Entry for children aged 17 and under is free; however, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Important Weather Update

We want everyone attending to have the safest and most enjoyable experience possible which is always our top priority.

While racing is still scheduled to proceed as planned, the weather forecast has prompted us to relocate all post-racing entertainment indoors. This change ensures you can still enjoy everything we have planned, comfortably and safely, regardless of the conditions outdoors.

We’re committed to ensuring everyone has the best experience possible, rain or shine, and we can’t wait to welcome you for an incredible day of racing and entertainment.

Ahead of the gates opening, here’s a list of everything else you need to know:

Timings

Gates open: 15:15
First race: 17:15
Last race: 20:45

On Saturday 19th July, for the first hour of gates opening, we’re offering:
- 50% off draught drinks – including soft drinks, lager, cider, bitter, and Guinness
- Meaning your first pint could be just £3.25!
- £10 off any bottle of house wine, Prosecco, Champagne, or jug of Pimms!

Offer strictly available for 1 hour after the advertised gate opening time only. Offer available for general attendance customers, including annual members and owners & and trainers. Offer can be withdrawn at the racecourse’s discretion at any time. Please speak to a member of the team for further details where needed. Please drink responsibly.

Entertainment

Meet Benidorm Actress Chrissy Rock, who will be meeting and mingling throughout the day

Enjoy a Country DJ and Live Vocalists and energetic dancers for 75 minutes after racing. Which will now be moved indoors due to the weather.

Plus, don’t miss the Line Dancing in the Main Hall — join in the fun and learn some classic steps!

Furniture

A limited amount of white furniture will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the Racecourse to upgrade to County Plus and reserve your spot.

Dress Code

The standard dress code is available [Here].

We recommend dressing for the weather, and sensible footwear is advised!

Cowboy hats are available to purchase for £10 from the Guest Experience Desk in County or the Racecard booth in the Grandstand. There is limited stock, so make sure to grab yours!

Transport

The Doncaster Racecourse 101 Shuttle Buses will run on Saturday, 19th July 2025.
From Doncaster Interchange, Stand B2
Operating: 15:00–18:00 (every 30 mins), returning from 20:00 onwards
Fares: £3 single / £5 return (no other passes valid)

Parking

Car Park A (opposite the main stand): Reserved for Annual Members, Owners & Trainers, Hospitality & Restaurants & Blue Badge Holders.
Please show permit/ticket/ID to gain access.
Car Park C (next to the Family Enclosure): Available to all guests, free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Important: The Doncaster Balloon Festival is taking place on the same day, which may cause local road closures and increased traffic.
Plan your journey to avoid delays.
Arrive early if parking at the Racecourse – the Sandal Wood Car Park is being used for the festival.

Security Checks

Security checks will take place on entry.
Please bring nothing larger than an A4-sized bag.

Other Useful Information

Tables, umbrellas, or parasols cannot be brought on-site

Picnics and chairs can only be brought into the Family Enclosure
A Family Enclosure ticket does not grant access to post-racing entertainment

Doncaster Racecourse is a cashless venue

However, on-site bookmakers do accept cash

County and Premier enclosure upgrades are available on the day – look out for our friendly team at the entrance

Wet Weather Guarantee

If it rains from gates opening through to the end of the last race, you could be invited back — on us!

Here’s what you need to know to qualify:
• Tickets must be booked at least 7 days in advance of the race day
• You must attend the event
• Offer applies to paid general admission tickets only – it does not include hospitality bookings, restaurant packages, complimentary tickets, or any tickets purchased within 7 days of the event

How to Claim

If the Wet Weather Guarantee is triggered, you’ll receive an email from the ARC Marketing Team with a link to claim your free return tickets.

You’ll then be able to choose from two fixed alternative dates to come back and enjoy another day at the races!
